Onboarding

One site, live, in the right order.

Nine steps from an empty tenant to a shrinkage number your CFO can act on. Each one links at the screen that does it — this is the order, not a second copy of the console.

  1. Your tenant and who is in it

We provision the tenant and the owner account. You add the rest: back-office staff get 2FA enforced, and anyone pinned to a single site sees only that site's board.

  2. Sites, and which one is the yard

One site to begin with — the one with the weighbridge. Sites carry the addresses that dispatch and delivery are measured against.

  3. Products, in grams

Every product carries its pack weight in grams and its price in cents. This is the step that decides whether your variance numbers mean anything, so it is worth an afternoon with the price list open.

  4. Customers and their terms

Trade customers get a credit limit and a price tier. Both are enforced at order time, not at month end, which is the point of entering them now.

  5. Vehicles, drivers and their devices

Each driver is linked to a user account so the app knows whose trip it is. Van stock and receipt blocks are issued per device.

  6. Geofences, captured on site

A rep stands at the customer's gate and captures the fence. Test it by trying to place an order from outside it — a refusal here is the system working.

  7. Connectors: weighbridge, eTIMS, M-Pesa, ERP

Each rail is enabled per module and verified before go-live. The integrations screen shows what is connected and what last succeeded.

  8. One trip, end to end

Gate in, weigh, load, weigh out, gate out, deliver, reconcile. Run it with a real truck and a real customer before anyone relies on it.

  9. Read your first shrinkage number

Once a week of trips is in, Insight has something to say: kilograms by driver, vehicle and route. That number is why the yard did this.
